The Story

Bridgwater United Women’s Football Club, nicknamed “The Robins,” are an English women’s football team based in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Currently the club compete in the FA Women’s National League Division One South West (Tier 4).

They were founded in 1990 as Yetminster Ladies, but since those early days the club has undergone several name changes, including Yeovil Town Ladies and Yeovil United, before merging with men’s side, Bridgwater Town in 2021, and becoming Bridgwater United Women.

In 2024 the club becoming an independent entity again.
