Bridgwater United Women FC are delighted to welcome Charlotte Buxton back to the club, bringing valuable experience from the Women’s Super League (WSL) and, more recently, Bristol Rovers.
Charlotte previously represented Bridgwater up until 2023, and she now returns with a clear ambition to help the club continue its progress.
Speaking about her return, Charlotte said:
“It’s amazing to be back. I feel right back at home. I can really see the aspirations of the club and where it’s going, and I can’t wait to be a part of it all.
“Bridgwater United is definitely fully committed to progressing the women’s game in its own entirety for the future of women’s football.
“I’m most excited about helping the team progress onto a higher level and aiming to be near the top of the table by the end of the season.
“Being welcomed back by all the amazing staff, players and supporters has been great and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Bridgwater United and to be a part of that journey again.”
Charlotte’s return adds further experience to the squad as Bridgwater United Women FC continue to build on their ambitions for the future.
